Le Domaine de la Graveirette
A new name in the Guide Hachette des Vins. Julien
Mus, settled in 1998, was a grape contributor before
starting to develop his wines in 2005.
The Domaine de la Graveirette is located in
Bedarrides, between Orange and Carpentras. It
belongs to Julien Mus. He first began winemaking in
2005, on plots he inherited from his father and a
few he has on loan. Today, the domain covers 10
hectares, spread across the communes of Courthezon,
Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and Bedarrides. The domain’s
primary concern lies in the desire to express the
terroir as well as possible in relation to its grape
varieties – mainly grenache, syrah, and mourvèdre,
but also merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and marselant
in the vins de Pays. The same amount of attention is
given to each plot.
